Fall Youth Soccer Outlook
Season Schedule Highlights
Registration Information:
- Registration Opens: May 1st, 2026
- Middle School Soccer Association (MSSA) League Registration Ends: June 20th, 2026
- Pataskala Youth Soccer Recreation League Registration Ends: June 30, 2026
- Players registered after June 30th-July 4th, will be placed on a waitlist and will be added based on space and will be assessed the late registration fee.
- Pataskala Youth Soccer Recreation League Late Registration Ends: July 4th, 2026 (After July 4th we cannot guarantee a spot for your child on a team)
Season Information:
- Practice/Training Begins: Can begin as early as July 20th, 2026, for U12, Middle School (MSSA), and High School (HSSA) (Depending on your players coach)
- Season Length: August 22nd - October 31stth
- NO Games on the following days:
- Labor Day Weekend - September 5th
- September 26th
Below are key date ranges for the Fall season. Full game times and field assignments will be shared closer to the start of the season. All games are weather permitting.
Recreation Soccer (U4–U12)

Practice Information by Age Group
Practice schedules will be determined once coaches are finalized and teams are formed.

U4 Division – One practice per week, typically 30–45 minutes, focused on fun and basic movement with the ball.

U5–U6 Divisions – One practice per week, approximately 45 minutes, emphasizing dribbling, stopping the ball, and simple gameplay concepts.

U7–U8 Divisions – One practice per week, about 60 minutes, focusing on dribbling, passing, spacing, and understanding field direction.

U10 Division – One to two practices per week depending on coach availability, with increased focus on teamwork and basic tactics.

U12 Division – Typically one to two practices per week with emphasis on positioning, decision-making, and game awareness.
Your coach will confirm your specific practice day, time, and field location.
Coach Communication Timeline

Coaches are expected to begin reaching out to families no later than July 23rd with team introductions, practice details, and next steps.

Full game schedules will be released in early August, at least two weeks before the season begins.

All practice and game schedules will be managed through the MOJO app. All new families must download MOJO to receive team communication and updates. Teams codes will be sent by the coaches upon receiving the introduction email.
Uniform Information (U4–U12 Recreation)
Recreation uniforms are required.
Returning players may continue using their current kit if it still fits. New players or those needing a new size should order using the link below:

Pataskala Youth Soccer League
The Pataskala Parks and Recreation Department proudly offers Youth Soccer for players of all skill levels. Our league is dedicated to developing future soccer athletes across Western Licking County through a fun, educational, and community-based program.
Our long-term, player-first approach begins at the grassroots level and continues into middle and high school, helping young athletes gain the foundation needed for competitive play and future opportunities.
League Mission:
To introduce the game of soccer and teach age-appropriate skills to players who are eager to learn, grow, and enjoy the sport in a positive, developmental environment.
Program Goals:
Focus on long-term player development rather than game results
Provide education and training for players, volunteer coaches, referees, and parents
Offer small-sided games that:
Improve ball control, confidence, and awareness
Encourage intelligent play with and without the ball
Promote a fun, safe, and active experience for all participants
Divisions Offered:
U4 – U17 (ages 3–17)
Registration Periods:
Spring Season: Closed
Fall Season: Opens April 5th 2026 and closes June 30th 2026
All games are played at Foundation Park in Pataskala.
