Our shelters and athletic fields offer beautiful, functional outdoor spaces perfect for picnics, birthday parties, reunions, league play, and more. Please review the information below to begin your reservation.

Shelter Rentals

1. Submit a Facility Request Online

Shelters are available to reserve by the day for one low fee per site. Complete your reservation online through CivicRec. Once submitted, a permit will be automatically generated and emailed to the address on file.

2. Reserve Online

Create an account or log in to CivicRec and select the “Shelter Rental” tab to view calendars and check availability. Choose your desired date and complete the reservation process.

3. Read the Rules & Regulations

All individuals or groups requesting a shelter reservation must read and follow the Shelter Rental Rules & Regulations.

4. Cancellation Policy

· The City of Pataskala reserves the right to cancel any reservation date, time, or location at its discretion.

· Permit holders who violate policies may face suspension, fines, disciplinary action, and/or cancellation of the permit.

· No refunds will be issued for canceled reservations.

5. Rainout Policy

If inclement weather occurs, shelter reservations may be transferred to another available date within the current season.

Athletic Field Rentals

Pataskala Parks & Recreation offers athletic field rentals at four of our seven parks. The use of these facilities requires monitoring due to the specialized maintenance needed to keep fields in safe playing condition.

Foundation Park

· 3 Ball Diamonds

· 2 Basketball Courts

· 1 soccer field available to be reserved

· Basketball Court Use: Public 3v3–5v5 tournaments permitted

Municipal Park

· Softball/Baseball/ 1 Multi-Use Field

Freedom Park

· Multi-Use / Soccer

Volunteer Park

· Softball/Baseball Field

· Basketball Court

Permit Request Process

· A Facility Request Form must be submitted for any athletic field rental.

· Submission does not guarantee approval; permits are issued based on availability.

· All applicants must read and follow the Athletic Field Rules & Regulations.

· The contact person listed on the request will be notified of approval or denial.

· The City of Pataskala may cancel assigned dates, times, or locations at its discretion.

Permit Violations

At the discretion of the Parks & Recreation Department, any permit holder found in violation may face:

· Permit suspension

· Fines

· Disciplinary action

· Cancellation of permit

No refunds will be issued for canceled or revoked permits.

Rainout Policy

Rainouts may be transferred to another available date within the same playing season.
